Getting started

From installation to your first task card

Connect your work, then find the next step with fewer app switches.

1. Install and start your trial

Download a package compatible with your Mac, move it to Applications, and open it. In the license panel, start a 3-day trial or paste your purchased license key. Starting a trial requires internet access, but no payment details.

Requires Apple Silicon and macOS 14+. Each seat is one physical Mac identified by its hardware ID. Keep Gatekeeper enabled.

2. Connect the tools you already use

Open Agents to see detected sources and integration methods. Log readers for Codex, MiniMax, and DeepSeek differ from hook integrations. Follow the prompts to install any required hooks.

Codex hooks may also require trust approval in the source app. After installation, run a short task and check that the last event time updates. Hook installation adds only VibeBoard entries; removal preserves your existing settings.

3. Understand the four task states

ColumnWhat it means
Needs youThe source reported an event requiring your input. Return to that app to respond.
In progressThe current turn was observed running.
RepliedThe source reported that the turn ended. Review the result yourself.
Paused & issuesThe task was interrupted, encountered an issue, or its status needs confirmation.

4. Browse by work context

By default, see tasks active today and unfinished tasks from previous days. Switch to the last 7 days or all tasks, filter by project or source, or search by keyword. Click for details; double-click or use the shortcut button to return to the source app.

Thread navigation depends on the deep links the source provides. Codex can open a specific thread; MiniMax can only open the app.

5. Check quotas and local servers

Quota cards show the source and reading time. Failed readings explain why; they do not appear as zero remaining. Shared subscription pools are not added together.

The servers page groups local listening processes within supported port ranges by project. Open an address, copy a link, or confirm the process identity before stopping a service. Optional smart naming is off by default and uses the API you choose.

6. Purchase, activate, and update

Choose your number of Macs on the website and make a one-time purchase. A license is issued only after the server verifies payment. Copy the license key into the app or use a short-lived activation link.

The license page in Settings lets you refresh credentials, deactivate this device, view offline validity, and check for updates. If the old Mac cannot be deactivated, contact support for a manual seat reset. Updates use a signed manifest; installation still requires your confirmation.
